Introducing the ‘Through the Ages’ Project

Get ready to unlock the secrets of the past! We’re thrilled to launch the ‘Through the Ages’ Project, a bold initiative that brings our Castle’s rich history to life. From the Roman era to the present day, this ambitious project takes you on a journey through time, exploring pivotal moments that shaped our heritage. With categories spanning the Roman period, Medieval period, and 20th Century period, among others, we want to create an immersive experience that will captivate and inspire. Our ‘Dig For Victory’ and WW2 collection is a key part of this project, supporting English Heritage’s WW2 weekend event and beyond. By pushing the boundaries of innovation, we’re opening doors to new funding opportunities and grants. Imagine interactive displays, visually stunning reproduction clothing and uniforms, and engaging literature that will leave you in awe. We’re planning a series of short exhibitions in our Keep Yard offices, and we hope to help support EH events at the Castle.
