Dover In Bloom 2026

We are delighted to announce that the Kitchen Garden within Dover Castle has been assessed for the second consecutive year as part of the ‘Dover In Bloom’ initiative, a town-wide movement that has successfully entered the RHS South East in Bloom competition. In its inaugural year, the initiative achieved a Gold award and won both the ‘Large Coastal Town’ and ‘Biodiversity’ categories. This year, Dover In Bloom has been named a finalist in the esteemed national Britain in Bloom competition, one of only 18 first-time finalists across the UK. We are confident that the judges were impressed by our efforts in the Kitchen Garden, and we believe that this hidden gem within the Castle grounds will contribute to Dover In Bloom’s continued success in this year’s competition.
